A new in-depth report from Verdantix, an independent research firm, has analyzed Trimble Real Estate’s recent updates to its next-generation IWMS platform, ManhattanONE.
ManhattanONE is Trimble’s latest cloud-based enterprise software solution, building on its historical success of being a leader in the real estate portfolio software market for nearly four decades.
Simplify the software procurement process
Verdantix—who focus on the Smart Building and EH&S markets—commended our new commercial model which aims to simplify the software procurement process and make it easier for firms to roll out multiple ManhattanONE modules.
“Trimble’s new user-based pricing model helps buyers calculate their current and future total costs with greater certainty.” — Verdantix, ‘Trimble offers an easier pathway to company-wide IWMS deployments’, November 2020
Organizations can now buy the ManhattanONE platform on a per-user basis, through a flat fee which provides access to every module. “The new proposition will help firms ease the rollout of an IWMS deployment across their organization and offers a compelling cloud-based upgrade path for on-premise Manhattan users,” said the report’s authors, Smart Buildings analyst Joy Trinquet.
They added: “Our analysis finds Trimble’s new pricing model will provide value to building occupiers with an appetite to centralize all real estate data on a single platform, as well as rapidly growing firms looking for a scalable solution.”
Access to all new features and functionality
The Verdantix report looked at how new collaboration tools for faster communication, and business continuity tools for managing return-to-office, had been built into ManhattanONE—along with updated mobile applications for field technicians, greater automation within the sustainability module, and new tools that enable greater automation in the processing of lease data. As a ManhattanONE customer you would get seamless access to these latest system developments.
The report also evaluated ManhattanONE’s ability to provide value to large firms looking for software flexibility whilst also future proofing their investments.
With the sheer volumes of lease, utilization, capital projects, service agreements, and utility costs data being produced by smarter buildings every day, the need for centralizing real estate and facilities software has never been greater (see figure 1).
When we launched Trimble’s ManhattanONE in May 2020, the solution was built on the pioneering vision that integration and modularity are not mutually exclusive. ManhattanONE offers organizations a complete and open real estate management system that delivers results as a single, unified platform or when interfaced with third-party software.
