5 Steps for Creating The ‘New Normal’ WorkplaceJuly 31, 2020
It’s been a great year for Trimble’s Real Estate division and although the year is soon coming to an end, we’re working hard and laying the foundation for exciting things to come in 2020.
In a time of economic uncertainty, many organizations are under growing pressure to reduce costs and maximize the performance of their real estate portfolios. To help senior real estate, finance and facility professionals make more informed decisions, companies are turning to Trimble’s Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), Manhattan. To meet this increase in demand, we’ve added a customer success team and made several investments in our sales program, starting with the appointment of our new global sales director, Oliver Ridgwell.
In this new role, Ridgwell will globalize our sales operations and expand market share in strategic segments. For over a decade, he’s held various sales roles of increasing responsibility at Trimble, including leading Asia Pacific sales efforts across all product lines, during which he exponentially grew the business. And most recently, Ridgwell has served as sales director for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
We’re also supporting growth by adding an inside sales group that will extend our market reach through working with existing customers who see the value of Trimble’s Real Estate software solutions and want to do more.
All of these efforts lay the foundation for our continued growth as more and more organizations realize that a strategic partner and an IWMS solution are key to more efficiently managing their real estate portfolios.
Looking back on the year with a sense of achievement we:
- obtained a System and Organization Controls for Service Organizations (SOC 1) Type 2 certification
- were named a leader in the Verdantix 2019 Green Quadrant Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) report
- launched an employee workplace app (iOS & Android) designed to help organizations meet the self-service demands of the modern, flexible workplace.
Continued progress is important to success. We’re forging new strategic partnerships and developing plans for exciting product enhancements that we can’t wait to share in the coming months and at our eagerly anticipated user conference, Manhattan Connections, in May 2020.
Taking place at the iconic Art hotel in Denver, Colorado, 2 days of training workshops, industry-focused presentations, case studies and panel discussions will help customers transform their real estate decision making. We are especially excited to have Vik Bangia, founder and CEO of Verum Consulting, feature as our opening keynote speaker. With over 25 years of expertise in corporate real estate, real estate outsourcing and strategic planning, Bangia will explore the link between truth and data, before leading an expert panel of real estate leaders on digital data challenges. Here are 10 reasons why customers should put Manhattan Connections in their calendar for May 12-14, 2020.
